Independence Day Celebration at ICHFN | 79th Year of Pride and Unity

Unity in Diversity: 79th Independence Day Celebration at ICHFN

The Institute of Child Health and Family Nursing (ICHFN) proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day with immense enthusiasm, patriotism, and joy at its hostel campus. The day was marked by heartfelt tributes, cultural performances, and the collective spirit of unity that defines the nation.

The celebration began with the unfurling of the national flag, followed by the national anthem — a moment that filled every heart with pride and emotion. Students and faculty gathered together to honor the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters and to reaffirm their commitment to serving the nation through the noble profession of nursing.

The students showcased their creativity and patriotism through songs, dances, speeches, and skits that beautifully captured the essence of India’s freedom and diversity. The hostel premises came alive with tricolour decorations, symbolising the strength and harmony of our country.

Faculty members shared inspiring words, reminding students that as future nurses, their dedication to humanity is also a contribution to the nation’s progress. The event concluded with a message of unity, responsibility, and hope — echoing the values that Independence Day stands for.

At ICHFN, such celebrations not only honour the nation’s history but also nurture a sense of belonging and pride among students who are preparing to serve society with compassion and integrity.
